Our client is a marine and offshore engineering company, specializing in shipbuilding, ship repair, and offshore fabrication. With a strong presence in Singapore, Batam, etc, delivers high-quality engineering solutions for commercial and offshore vessels. We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in a well-established marine industry player.

Cost Estimation & Analysis

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and timeline for ship repair, conversion, and newbuilding projects, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontracting.
  • Analyze project specifications, technical drawings, and client requirements to determine accurate scope of work.
  • Ensure all cost elements are properly documented and aligned with project standards, regulatory requirements and industry practices.
  • Prepare and submit tenders or quotations in response to client inquiries or bidding invitations.
  • Liaise with procurement, production, and engineering teams to verify cost inputs, delivery timeline and availability.
  • Review and update estimates as project specifications or conditions change.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ship repair, conversion, or newbuilding estimation within a shipyard environment.
  • Worked in a shipyard (preferred) or fabrication yard.
  • Strong understanding of ship structures, systems, and repair procedures.
