Job summary

A leading offshore engineering firm is seeking a Head of Discipline for Engineering Support. This pivotal role involves managing engineering resources and developing corporate technical standards while ensuring support for various offshore projects. Ideal candidates will have an extensive background in the oil and gas industry, particularly in offshore environments, complemented by strong leadership, strategic focus, and communication skills in both Korean and English. Frequent travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15-20 years experience in the offshore or oil and gas industry.
• 5-10 years experience at top-tier offshore contractors or EPC contractors.
• Hands-on engineering experience in offshore EPCI projects.
• Strong leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Engineering Support Discipline and project engineering support resources.
• Develop corporate technical standards and procedures.
• Monitor project feasibility studies and engineering progress.
• Report project status to Head of Topside Engineering.
• Lead recruitment efforts for engineering management resources.
