Zusammenfassung
A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Chemical Engineering Technician to work at a distillation process plant. The role involves ensuring safe operations, coordinating with laboratories, and conducting routine inspections. Candidates should have a minimum NITEC/Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a related field and be proficient in basic computer applications. This position offers a basic salary of $1,900 – $2,700 plus bonuses and involves shift work.

- Able to perform overtime/shift work.
Aufgaben
- Work at distillation process plant to ensure spent waste material is distilled into product.
- Ensure distillation process plant operates within safe operation parameters.
- Coordinate with the Laboratory for waste/product sampling.
- Record process data and report any deviations.
- Conduct routine inspections for leaks, spills, and safety hazards.

Ausbildung
- Location: Tuas
- Transport: Company Transport / Transport Allowance $120 if candidate travels to work by themselves
- Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm); Saturday (8am – 12pm) / Shift Work (Day: 8am – 8pm, Night: 8pm – 8am)
- Basic salary: $1,900 – $2,700 (Entitled to overtime/shift work allowances) + Sign‑on bonus (T&C apply)
- Minimum NITEC/Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, email, internet research).
- Able to perform overtime/shift work.

- Work at distillation process plant to ensure spent waste material is distilled into product.
- Ensure distillation process plant operates within safe operation parameters.
- Ensure safety during transferring of flammable material.
- Coordinate with the Laboratory for waste/product sampling.
- Follow up on the SOP.
- Coordinate with the Laboratory & resale team for re‑sell items.
- Ensure sufficient storage capacity and that the product is safely stored and treated.
- Ensure performance and efficiency of the distillation process plant in terms of recovery yield and utilities consumption.
- Startup/shut down operation of the distillation process plant according to SOP.
- Record process data and report any deviations.
- Identify and rectify process upset and equipment malfunction in a timely manner.
- Work with engineering to resolve equipment issues and implement preventive measures.
- Conduct routine inspections for leaks, spills, and safety hazards. Ensure safe handling of flammable materials.
- Participate in training program to enhance chemical and safety knowledge.
- Cover the 5S and safety job for the department.
