Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore seeks a skilled operator for their High Pressure Waterjet machine. Candidates should have over 3 years of relevant experience, a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, and be able to interpret engineering drawings. The position requires routine maintenance skills and a good command of written English. Willingness to work on a day and night roster is essential.

• Operate High Pressure Waterjet machine according to Rolls‑Royce Engine Manuals.
• Perform routine maintenance of the High Pressure Waterjet Machine.
• Control parameters for process validation.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to operate High Pressure Waterjet machine to remove metal spray coatings from aero engine components in accordance with the requirements & instructions of Rolls‑Royce Engine Manuals
• Setting up, operating, and performing routine machine maintenance of High Pressure Waterjet Machine
• Familiar in setting and control of different parameters for the validation of process
• Familiar in using different precision measuring instruments for dimensional inspection
• Troubleshooting any issues that arise
• Understand and strict adherence to Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
• Health & Safety practices (E.g. Personnel Protection Equipment, Fixture and Tooling storage)

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in operation of High Pressure Waterjet machine
• Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Engineering or related disciplines
• Able to interpret engineering drawings
• Good command of written English and engineering analytical skill
• Willing to take day and night roster shifts
