Job summary

A leading manpower service provider in Singapore is seeking a motivated Test Equipment Technician to support semiconductor manufacturing operations. The role involves handling maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance improvement of ATE Test and Backend equipment. Candidates should have an ITE/Diploma in a related field and 3-5 years of hands-on experience. The position is on a renewable 12-month contract with a shift pattern of 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with semiconductor test or backend equipment test.
• Experience with test handlers.
• Maintain, debug & repair ATE testers.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, conversion, debugging, and repair of ATE Test equipment.
• Record and update equipment maintenance and performance logs.
• Collaborate with Engineers to enhance reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Coordinate with Supervisors to meet production targets.

We are seeking a motivated Test & Maintenance Technician to support our semiconductor manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance improvement of ATE Test and Backend equipment in a cleanroom environment.

Employment Type: 12-month Contract (renewable)
Location: Ang Mo KIo
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shift (Permanent day or Permanent night)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, conversion, debugging, and repair of ATE Test and Backend equipment.
• Record and update equipment maintenance, calibration, and performance logs.
• Collaborate with Engineers to enhance reliability, performance, and productivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Planners to meet production targets.
• Generate reports on equipment downtime, yield, and output.
• Train new technicians and operators on proper equipment handling.
• Maintain 6S workplace standards and manage spare part inventory.
• Lead or participate in process improvement and safety initiatives.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Requirements

• ITE/ Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in semiconductor test or backend equipment test.
• Experience with Test Handlers.
• Maintain, debug & repair ATE testers & support test handlers.
• Able to read basic electronic schematics preferred.
• Good communication skills and teamwork attitude.
• Proficient in MS Office and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
