Job summary
A consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced network engineer to oversee the deployment of core network projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with end users and vendor teams to meet technical requirements and resolving issues. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 3 years in network solution design, as well as relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network solution design, planning, implementation, and validation.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and vendor coordination.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Oversee and support the deployment and delivery of core network infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with end users and vendor delivery teams to ensure solutions meet technical and timeline requirements
- Work with operations and support teams on fault analysis, issue resolution, and patch updates, ensuring adherence to SLAs
- Perform risk assessments, implementation validation, and configuration reviews for network changes
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, configuration records, and operational best practices
- Ensure all activities comply with established security policies, standards, and governance frameworks
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in network solution design, planning, implementation, and validation
- Strong technical knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, and core network services (DNS, DHCP, NTP, TCP/IP)
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and vendor coordination, with the ability to manage delivery and resolve issues
- Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, and/or ITIL are preferred
- Prior experience in defence or government environments requiring security clearance is an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently while contributing effectively as a team player
