Our client is seeking a Network Support Engineer to provide day‑to‑day operations and maintenance support for secure network infrastructure in a regulated environment. This role is ideal for a hands‑on network professional who enjoys troubleshooting, incident management, and working within structured security and operational frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support for network infrastructure and connectivity
• Manage, track, and resolve network incidents in line with SLAs and operational procedures
• Troubleshoot network issues in collaboration with cross‑functional technical teams
• Perform fault analysis, configuration updates, and network performance optimization
• Maintain accurate documentation, configuration records, and operational runbooks
• Ensure all activities comply with internal security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in network or infrastructure support roles
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues independently
• Working knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP)
• Hands‑on experience with Linux (Red Hat), Windows Server, and VMware environments
• Familiarity with firewalls, routers, and switches is preferred
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and regular expressions
• Prior experience in defence or government environments (security‑cleared roles) is an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills
