Network Infrastructure Management
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Cisco switches and routers, F5 load balancers, CheckPoint and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Manage VPN connections, including SSL certificate lifecycle and renewal.
- Oversee multiplexed (MUX) connections between data centers for high availability and redundancy.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain network hardening standards in line with FI and CII compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry best practices.
Operational Excellence
- Perform planned network changes during scheduled maintenance windows (typically weekends and midnight) to minimize business impact.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues promptly.
Collaboration & Vendor Management
- Work closely with telco providers for WAN connectivity and service assurance.
- Coordinate with internal teams for integration and testing of network components.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration documentation, and change records.
- Provide periodic reports on network performance, security posture, and compliance status.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise networking and security.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking (switches, routers), F5 load balancers, Check Point and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Proficiency in VPN technologies and SSL certificate management.
- Experience in network hardening and compliance for regulated environments (FI/CII).
- Familiarity with high-availability architectures and disaster recovery planning.
- Ability to work during off-hours for critical changes and maintenance.
