Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer with specialized experience in Marine & Reclamation project management and technology. This role is critical in providing technical expertise to support our Market Development and Project Management initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to winning new business and ensuring the successful technical delivery of complex coastal and reclamation projects.

Key Responsibilities (Job Description):

1. Technical Support for Market Development:

• Assist the business development teams by providing technical input for proposals, tenders, and client presentations related to marine and reclamation projects.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits to understand project needs and articulate technical solutions.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, preliminary designs, and cost estimations for new project opportunities.

2. Project Engineering & Delivery Support:

• Provide engineering design, analysis, and technical oversight for marine structures (e.g., seawalls, breakwaters, jetties) and land reclamation projects.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports.
• Support project managers in planning, coordination, and monitoring of project phases (design, procurement, construction, supervision).
• Conduct site inspections and liaise with contractors to ensure works adhere to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

3. Design & Analysis:

• Perform engineering analyses related to coastal processes, hydrodynamics, sediment transport, geotechnical stability, and foundation design for reclamation areas.
• Utilize engineering software for modeling and design tasks.

4. Documentation & Compliance:

• Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with relevant national and international codes, standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and assist in the preparation of progress and final reports.

5. Collaboration:

• Work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, environmental, planning).

Requirements:

1. Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a directly related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Progress towards or holding a relevant professional engineering license/certification (e.g., EIT, PE, or international equivalent) is preferred.

2. Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of direct hands-on experience in the engineering design and/or project delivery of marine and reclamation projects.
• Demonstrated involvement in at least one major land reclamation project is highly desirable.
• Experience in a consulting or contractor environment is preferred.

3. Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of marine and reclamation engineering principles, including dredging, ground improvement, coastal protection, and marine structures.
• Proficiency with relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS tools, hydrodynamic or geotechnical modeling software).
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

4. Soft Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Client-focused attitude and commercial awareness.

5. Other:
