Job summary

A maritime services company in Singapore is seeking a Service Engineer specializing in marine fire-fighting and life-saving equipment. SERVICE ENGINEER (Marine Fire Fighting / LSA-FFA Technician)
Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair marine life‑saving and fire‑fighting equipment in compliance with SOLAS, class rules, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Service fire extinguishers, fire hoses, gas detection systems, CO₂ systems, dry chemical systems, and fire alarm systems.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify technical faults efficiently.
  • Perform annual inspection, maintenance, and certification of LSA/FFA equipment.
  • Prepare service reports, certificates, and required documentation.
  • Carry out on‑site work onboard vessels and at shipyards (West Coast Pier / Marina South Pier).
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in marine/shipping industry (LSA/FFA or marine firefighting role).
  • Good knowledge of SOLAS and class regulations.
  • Strong hands‑on technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong safety awareness.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willing to work overtime.
