Job summary
A resource management firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a 1-year contract to perform maintenance on various Mechanical Optics and Surveying Equipment. The successful applicant must have a diploma in engineering, proficiency with MS Office and SAP, and be adaptable with excellent multi-tasking skills. This position offers a salary of up to $4,500 and is located in Ang Mo Kio, with shuttle services provided.
Qualifications
- At least diploma in Engineering with relevant experience in related field.
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
- Proactive, inquisitive, and committed to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance services for Mechanical Optics & Surveying Equipment.
- Ensure timely delivery of jobs to meet customer SLAs.
- Participate in audits as required.
- Maintain proper control and accounting of work in progress.

Mon to Fri: 8am-5.30pm
Ang Mo Kio (Shuttle service provided at selected MRT stations)
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance services for a wide range of Mechanical Optics & Surveying Equipment such as prismatic compass, telescope, binoculars, periscope, boresight scopes, etc.
- Be independent to ensure timely delivery of completed jobs to meet customer’s service level assurance (SLA).
- Perform other laboratory support functions as required in an efficient and organized manner.
- Participate in external/internal audits as required by the System Assurance team.
- Endeavour to complete all work within the budgeted timeline and target dates and ensure proper control and accounting of work in progress is maintained and reported.
- Be open-minded and highly adaptable in adopting new and improved processes to support the future growth of our service business.
- Be collaborative in working with the internal and external stakeholders to deliver the required end-to-end processes.
- At least diploma in Engineering with relevant experience in related field.
- Comfortable with technology and IT tools. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Enterprise Systems (SAP).
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
- Proactive, inquisitive, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Highly adaptable with excellent multi-tasking skills.
