Job description
Goal of Position

The incumbent is responsible to drive corporate real estate management across the Asia Pacific region and oversee the development, implementation, and execution of goal-oriented strategies for real estate assets, including production facilities, offices, logistics/warehouses, and technology buildings.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead five core areas of responsibility:

1. Portfolio Management

  • Conduct portfolio analysis and optimization based on central data.
  • Support location strategy and site selection in coordination with global CREM teams.
  • Provide proactive recommendations for portfolio improvements.

2. Asset and Property Management

  • Translate portfolio strategies into efficient asset management practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies for property management, leasing, and maintenance.
  • Align operational services with divisional and regional needs.

3. Transaction Management / M&A

  • Execute real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and leasing.
  • Ensure compliance with global transaction guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for process execution.

4. Building and Construction Management

  • Implement global standards for construction projects, including sustainability and ESG requirements.
  • Oversee planning and execution of construction projects with internal and external resources.

5. Real Estate Finance

  • Manage CAPEX budgeting, financial planning and reporting for real estate activities.
  • Work closely with global and regional finance teams to optimise costs and processes.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate management, business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field of study with an additional qualification in real estate economics (IREBS, etc.).
  • At least fifteen years of experience in the development and implementation of complex, finance- and organisation‑specific corporate real estate processes throughout the entire real estate life cycle, preferably in an industrial environment.
  • Proven success in project and portfolio management, from strategy development to pragmatic, proactive, stakeholder‑oriented implementation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills in a global corporate context with a matrix organisation, combined with convincing analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills and a structured and goal‑oriented approach to work. Proven experience in ESG management, digitalisation and the development, implementation and execution of sustainability processes, etc. in the real estate industry.
  • Experience in asset management/property management of diversified portfolios in the industrial sector.
