Job summary
A recruitment consultancy in Singapore is seeking an engineer for maintenance and repair of machinery. The role involves testing protection relays, performing oil filtration, and engaging with supervisors on engineering matters. Candidates should have an ITE education in Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Class 3 license is required. This role may involve longer hours depending on project needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in engineering.
- Ability to commit to longer working hours when required.
- Possession of a Class 3 driving license.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and commissioning of machinery.
- Test various types of protection relays under supervision.
- Carry out oil filtration of transformers under guidance.
- Perform partial discharge measurement and thermal scanning.
- Develop relations with supervisors on engineering concerns.
Skills
Education
- Mon-Fri, 8.15am - 5.30pm
- Perform maintenance, repair, commissioning and replacement of machinery equipment and systems such as motors, switchgears, generators and transformers.
- Testing for a various types of protection relays (such as pilot wire protection, O/C, E/F) under supervision.
- Carry out oil filtration of transformer under guidance
- Perform partial discharge measurement, thermal scanning and equipment used for predictive maintenance under guidance
- Develop and maintain relations with supervisors, assistant supervisors and other department on engineering concerns.
- ITE education in Engineer with 2 years relevant experience
- Able to commit to longer working hours if project requires.
- Possess Class 3 license
