The right candidate should have practical experience with engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and computer diagnostics. A solid grasp of automotive technology, good problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to providing quality service are important.

Job Description

• Service / Maintenance of motor vehicles (Petrol & Diesel) including engine checks, chassis checks, battery checks and identify mechanical defects or faults and replace defective or worn parts.
• Overhaul and test major components such as engines, transmission systems and electrical systems.
• Fundamental electrical knowledge to troubleshoot electrical systems and usage of Engine Diagnostic Equipment to troubleshoot "Check Engine Light" and identify electrical faults, perform repairs, and replace defective parts.
• Service / Maintenance in electrical wirings to install accessories like reverse camera, driving video recorder, alarm security system and audio system.
• Air-conditioning systems repairs and preventive maintenances.
• Ability to operate Tyre Changer Equipment to mount or dismount tyres on wheel rims.
• Test drive and troubleshoot customers' vehicle problems.
• Attend to customers’ enquiries, requests, feedbacks, and concerns on vehicle related issues.
• Wash and vacuum vehicle after repair.
• Perform assigned ad-hoc duties.
• Report to Operation Manager.

Requirements

• Preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience in automotive industrial.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Possess valid Class 3 driving license would be a plus.
