Job summary

An automotive service company in Singapore is seeking a Service Advisor to act as a bridge between customers and the service department. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a customer service role in the automotive industry and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include preparing repair estimates, conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry.

Service Advisor in automotive industry acts as a bridge between customer and service department. They assess, suggest, schedule, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate accident repair estimates and provide a necessary supplementary estimate.
  • Provide guidance and support to customers regarding vehicle maintenance and repair services.
  • Possess the ability to troubleshoot basic vehicle faults and problems.
  • Gather feedback and encourage customers to leave a good review.
  • Conduct thorough Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) to ensure the quality of the vehicle before handover.
  • Prepare servicing schedule.
  • Prepare Job card.
  • Prepare daily status.
  • Prepare Job Quotation for all O&A jobs requested by customer.
  • Assist OIC to attend to customers’ need & requests.
  • Updating of maintenance book (record all job history).
  • Applying base clearance for suppliers when required.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adapt to a fast‑paced environment and be flexible with changing priorities.
  • Proficient computer skills to manage customer information and process service orders.
  • Primary/Secondary, GCE 'O'/'N', Nitec/Diploma/Degree.
