PACKING TEAM LEADER / PACKER
Job summary
A leading packaging company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual to perform and supervise on-site packing jobs. The role involves measuring cargo, proposing packaging designs, and managing daily operations to ensure timely completion and quality adherence. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in packing, a valid Class 3 driving license, and proficiency in woodworking tools. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential, along with a commitment to safety and compliance in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in packing, wooden packaging, or related field.
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving license.
- Proficient in using woodworking tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site packing jobs at customer premises.
- Lead and manage daily site operations for efficient packing jobs.
- Conduct quality checks and internal audits on packed items.

- Perform on-site packing jobs at customer premises, including measuring cargo, parts, and machinery.
- Propose and size up packaging design based on item dimensions, weight, and customer requirement.
- Lead and manage daily site operations to ensure packing jobs are completed efficiently, accurately, and on time.
- Provide instructions to team members so as to perform packing duties of goods (machine/components) into wooden crate/boxes, ensuring adherence to measurement and quality standards.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with safety rules and relevant regulations.
- Conduct quality checks and internal audit on packed items to confirm compliance with customer and company requirements.
- Perform and supervise the use of equipment such as air nailers and measurement tools/techniques to ensure precision in packing.
- Maintain good housekeeping and proper handling of tools, materials, and equipment at all work sites.
- Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by the management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in packing, wooden packaging, or related field.
- Experience in mobile or customer‑site packing is an advantage.
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence.
- Proficient in using woodworking tools & equipment (including air‑nailer) / knowledge of protective packaging and basic design of packaging box.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and leadership skills to supervise, guide, and motivate team members.
- Required to wear coveralls and PPE during work.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45 am to 4:45 pm.
- Adaptable, flexible, resourceful, and responsive in a fast‑paced environment.
