Job summary

A leading technology firm located in Singapore is looking for an IT Support Specialist to manage and maintain computer systems and networks. You will be responsible for troubleshooting performance issues and ensuring compliance with IT policies. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in IT or related fields, along with at least 2 years of experience in IT system support. Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years' experience in IT system support.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network.
  • Good knowledge of system security and MS SQL database.
  • Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure and maintain computer systems, networks and IT equipment.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot outages or performance issues.
  • Respond to IT security vulnerabilities and cyber incident notifications.
  • Respond to service issues and requests and resolve logged errors in a timely manner.
  • Monitor quality of work performed by outsourced vendors.
  • Maintain and update the company website.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions.
  • Support network connectivity.
  • Acquire IT assets.
  • Administer and manage IT inventories.
  • Lead IT audits and BCP.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
  • Backup for applications and database support tasks.
