Testing & Commissioning Engineer
Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Testing and Commissioning Engineer for a 1-Year Contract. This role involves integrating and commissioning Signaling systems for MRT projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in IT, over one year of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of ATS/CBTC systems. Job Description: Testing and Commissioning Engineer (Signaling - MRT, Singapore) - 1 Year Contract
Role: Integrate and commission Signaling systems (ATS/CBTC), focusing on IT aspects.
- Design and perform the necessary integration tests and commission the Signaling system.
- Interface to suppliers, partners and customers regarding tests and commissioning skills.
- Bachelor Degree in IT or similar field.
- You have more than 1 years of relevant work experience in a similar function.
- Proficiency in English is essential, with the ability to write clear and comprehensive design documentation, articulate ideas effectively, and engage persuasively in meetings.
- Ability and willingness to work under high workloads, including nights and weekends during testing and commissioning phase.
- Railway systems and signalling knowledge, with specific experience in ATS systems for CBTC projects.
- GNU/Linux knowledge. Knowledge of systems engineering, system administration, network and operating system hardening techniques.
- Knowledge of network architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles.
