We are seeking an experienced Tech Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our technology recruitment efforts and build high-performing engineering teams. This newly created role will be crucial to shape our talent strategy and scaling our engineering organisation to support business growth. You will work closely with engineering leadership and key stakeholders to deliver on hiring objectives while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. You’ll also build and manage a team of recruiters, driving excellence across the talent acquisition lifecycle.

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive hiring strategies across Software Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure.
  • Optimize recruitment processes for efficiency, scalability, and exceptional candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workforce needs and build proactive talent pipelines.
  • Define and track recruitment metrics and KPIs to evaluate success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead strategic workforce planning in collaboration with business and HR teams.

Team Management

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to the recruitment team.
  • Offer expert guidance on complex searches and hiring decisions.
  • Foster strong collaboration between talent acquisition and hiring managers.

Technical Recruitment Excellence

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for niche and hard-to-fill technical roles.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key technical communities and talent pools.
  • Implement and manage recruitment technologies, tools, and assessment frameworks.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, salary benchmarks, and market intelligence.
  • Design and embed best-in-class technical assessment processes.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with senior leadership to align recruitment strategies with business objectives
  • Collaborate with HR teams on employer branding and candidate experience initiatives
  • Provide regular updates and insights on recruitment metrics and market trends
  • Build strong relationships with key hiring managers

Experience & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 6 years focusing on technical recruitment
  • 3+ years of people management experience in a recruitment function
  • Proven track record of successfully hiring for tech roles (Software Engineers, DevOps, Cybersecurity Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer etc.)
  • Strong understanding of technical roles, skills, and market trends
  • Experience with recruitment technologies and ATS systems such as Workday and Workable.
  • IHRP and CEI certification is advantageous.

Technical Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of software development life cycles, engineering practices, and tech stacks.
  • Ability to comprehend technical requirements and speak confidently with tech professionals.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, frameworks, and modern infrastructure technologies.
  • Knowledge of technical assessment tools and candidate evaluation methods.
