Job summary
A hospitality company in Singapore is seeking a skilled Head Baker to lead their new café's bakery operations. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of baking experience, including supervisory roles. Responsibilities include menu creation, managing daily operations, and ensuring a premium customer experience. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required. This is an exciting opportunity in a vibrant café environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of baking or pastry production experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or head baker role.
- Expertise in artisanal bread and pastry production techniques.
- Experience in high-volume café or bakery settings preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead production of baked goods, including artisanal breads and café-style pastries.
- Oversee daily bakery production from preparation to final bake.
- Work with management to develop pricing and cost control strategies.
- Ensure bakery offerings align with a premium customer experience.
- Partner with operations and marketing teams on new product launches and campaigns.
