Our client is a regional logistics company with a strong presence across Asia. With decades of experience in freight forwarding, warehousing, and integrated logistics solutions, they are known for their operational excellence and long-standing customer partnerships.

As part of their expansion plans, we have been exclusively engaged to identify a seasoned commercial leader for the role of Head of Commercial, Asia Pacific Logistics, based in Singapore.

This is a key leadership position responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy across all logistics services. Based in Singapore, the successful candidate will lead business development efforts, strengthen client relationships, and identify growth opportunities across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the overall commercial strategy to support revenue growth and profitability targets
  • Lead and manage regional sales and business development teams across multiple markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Identify new market segments and drive strategic initiatives to grow market share
  • Oversee pricing, contract negotiations, and tender management
  • Work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure service alignment and sustainable margin growth
  • Track and report on commercial performance, sales pipeline, and market developments
  • Coach, mentor, and support team members to strengthen commercial capabilities within the organisation
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
  • 15+ years of relevant commercial experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sectors
  • Strong track record in business development, key account management, and strategic sales planning
