Senior Project Manager
Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee major foundation and geotechnical engineering projects. This role involves managing a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring project delivery on time and within budget, and liaising with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years' experience in bored piling works.
- Recognized degree by PE Board Singapore preferred.
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary project team.
- Take responsibility for project scheduling and budgeting.
- Liaise with consultants and main contractors.
- Supervise site labor force and subcontractors.
- Oversee safety and health matters on site.
Skills
Education
Plan, execute, monitor and control works program and activities for projects including:
- To lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team of project managers on major projects through all stages of foundation and geotechnical engineering work
- To take responsibility for project scheduling, budgeting, project management in terms of cost, quality and timely delivery
- Liaise with consultants, main contractors, clients and relevant authorities
- Attend regular site meetings
- Supervise and monitor the site labor force and the work of subcontractors
- Oversee the safety and health matters on the site
- Resolve any or other site related technical problems encountered.
- Any other duties delegated from head office, from time to time.
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent, recognised by PE Board Singapore preferred
- At least 15 years’ relevant experience in bored piling works in similar capacity
- Excellent communication skills and able to work with employees at all levels
- Ability to interface with internal and external customers
- Able to deliver in a fast pace environment and work under pressure
