Job summary
A staffing service firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee accounting operations, maintain compliance, and enhance financial systems for local and overseas subsidiaries. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting and possess at least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in the gaming or technology sectors. Knowledge of financial reporting standards and tools like Excel and SQL is essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Experience in gaming or technology industry is preferred.
- Familiar with local and international financial reporting standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-spectrum accounting operations.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams for system enhancements.

- Able to establish and maintain accounting practices for Singapore and overseas subsidiaries in compliance with local and international standards.
- Oversee full-spectrum accounting operations, including general ledger management, consolidation, and statutory filings.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting for both local and group requirements.
- Support the integration of local entities into the group accounting framework.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement or enhance financial systems tailored for overseas operations.
- Continuously review and optimize accounting workflows to drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage financial operations and ensure tax and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
- Serve as a key liaison between local entities and group finance to uphold governance and reporting standards.
- Partner with project teams to provide financial insights and data-driven analysis for business decisions.
- Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and performance evaluation to support business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; prior experience in the gaming or technology industry preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including exposure to both Big 4 audit and in-house finance functions.
- Well verse in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of BI tools, SQL, or VBA is advantageous.
- Well verse in local and international financial reporting standards and tax compliance.
