Job summary

A leading engineering and construction company based in Singapore is looking for a professional to manage project budgets, review project costs, and liaise with external auditors. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma or degree and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience in project environments is preferred. The role requires a proactive team player who can work under pressure and is proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP. On-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
  • Prior experience in project and site environments will be an added advantage.
  • Proactive, motivated and responsible team player.

Responsibilities

  • Review, monitor and address issues related to project budgets.
  • Prepare various management reports accurately and timely.
  • Liaise with external auditors and respond to queries.

About the Company

We are a leading engineering and construction company based in Singapore. With multifaceted project management capabilities and a strong diverse workforce, we provide a full range of services in engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance of power and industrial plants across the world.

Responsibilities
  • Actively review, monitor and address issues related to project budgets and costs
  • Review, verify and process of projects' budget revisions accurately
  • Review, check and process of SWO / MSO payment certificates for projects
  • Prepare various management reports accurately and in a timely manner. Analyse and update on any irregularities while seeking appropriate rectifications from Project team
  • Ensure project teams understand observe and adhere to policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance to subsidiaries' BCD and site finance officers on job related functions
  • Liaise with external auditors and respond promptly to queries and concerns
  • Support Head of Department in conducting joint cost reviews with project teams
  • Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Prerequsites
  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline
  • Prior experience in project and site environments will be an added advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all levels
  • Proactive, motivated and responsible team player
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and SAP software
