This role sits within the Data & Analytics team and serves to strengthen the link between technical expertise and product development. It requires co-ordination between product, commercial and technical leads to enable the development of best in breed analytical products.

How you would make a difference

• Understanding the health analytical landscape to inform the product development process, identifying areas in which data and analytics can enhance and support the product offering for a competitive advantage
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of the analytical architecture and product specifications, for both internal and external visibility. This involves collaboration and co-ordination with technical experts and stakeholders across the business
• Creation of other internal and external documentation, including assistance in marketing material and presentations, demonstrating technical knowledge, client value and customer journeys
• Assist in formulation of the analytical product road map by engaging with both commercial and technical stakeholders, balancing complexity and feasibility of build relative to client value and market requirements
• Assist in the creation of an enabling environment for product delivery through the adoption of governance processes, standards and frameworks
• Communication across the organisation from staff to executive level

• A good understanding of healthcare solutions powered by healthcare analytics is required as the basis for the development of analytical products. This includes analytics in the areas of patient health management, fraud and waste detection, health operations and medical cost management

• Good understanding of the end-to-end product design process from creation to delivery
• Knowledge of clinical tools including coders, groupers, and classifications
• Understanding of healthcare reporting and key healthcare technologies
• Understanding of data science, data analytics and core data standards in the healthcare space

A bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, healthcare related, or similar.

A master's degree in a related field preferred.

Extensive experience in healthcare analytics.
