Job summary
A community healthcare institution in Singapore seeks a Senior / Resident Physician to manage sub-acute and rehabilitative patient care. Yishun Community Hospital (YCH) is a 428-bed community hospital that provides intermediate care for recuperating patients who do not require the intensive care services of an acute-care hospital. The services will be focused on helping patients recover and regain their health and daily functions through therapy and education. The community hospital is conceptualized based on our principle of providing a hassle-free experience for our patients and is designed as a healing space.
We invite applications from medical professionals to join us as: Resident Physician / Senior Resident Physician. You will be responsible for the total management of sub-acute and rehabilitative patients under your care and work in collaboration with the senior doctors and other healthcare professionals. Your duties include providing medical consultations, on-call duties, managing outpatient clinics, mentoring junior doctors and any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Possess a basic medical degree or postgraduate qualification that is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council;
- Possess a registrable postgraduate qualification in Geriatric Medicine e.g. GDGRM or GDFM or MMed Family Medicine; MRCP will be an advantage
- Eligible for Conditional or Full registration with the Singapore Medical Council;
- Registered as a medical doctor in the country of conferment of medical qualification and last place(s) of practice;
- Possess at least 3 years of post housemanship working experience as a medical officer (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline;
- Be in active clinical practice in the past 3 years in the relevant specialty;
- Provide evidence of English language proficiency and meet the score specified by the Singapore Medical Council if the basic medical qualification is not conducted in English language.
