Role and Responsibilities
Collaborate and coordinate the involvement of various departments.
Formulate strategy for sale of new business and assigned account retention.
Establish, maintain and expand relationships with key customer accounts.
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Develop and lead in customer engagements, bid documents and integrated proposals as well as business development activities including channel partner resell/referral programs etc.
Influence senior stakeholders within customers' organization’s and premier buyers in the industry.
Monitor changes in the industry and leverage them for business opportunities.
Participate in data center industry events and forums to keep abreast of new changes in the industry and practices.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
BA/BS degree or equivalent
In-depth knowledge of the data center and fiber infrastructure industry with good understanding of market demand and customer purchasing behaviour
Experience with large hyperscale customers
Knowledge of data center, Telecom and/or IT
Minimum of 5 years Sales and/or account management or other relevant experience
Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Experience in handling Data center contracts
Strong influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills
Experience in delivering client-focused solution based on customer needs
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
