Job description
Role and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate and coordinate the involvement of various departments.
  • Formulate strategy for sale of new business and assigned account retention.
  • Establish, maintain and expand relationships with key customer accounts.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Develop and lead in customer engagements, bid documents and integrated proposals as well as business development activities including channel partner resell/referral programs etc.
  • Influence senior stakeholders within customers' organization’s and premier buyers in the industry.
  • Monitor changes in the industry and leverage them for business opportunities.
  • Participate in data center industry events and forums to keep abreast of new changes in the industry and practices.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge of the data center and fiber infrastructure industry with good understanding of market demand and customer purchasing behaviour
  • Experience with large hyperscale customers
  • Knowledge of data center, Telecom and/or IT
  • Minimum of 5 years Sales and/or account management or other relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in handling Data center contracts
  • Strong influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solution based on customer needs
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to travel
