A leading media company in Singapore seeks a dedicated Media Host to perform on-air duties including hourly news readings and to engage with audiences through social media. Job description

• Perform specified on-air duties, including hourly news readings, complete all production assignments ie trailers, capsules, programmes. Ensure station ratings are strong
• Conduct research on topics/themes to be discussed on shows. Integrates information from diverse sources, often involving large amounts of information. Sharing of relevant topics across stations belts
• Source for good interviewees and prepare interview questions for guests and lead the live discussion during shows
• Elevate station social media following and engagement. Contribute to station's social media pages with relevant content
• Produce both catch up and original podcast programmes to meet the growing demand of digital audience
• Able to helm corporate, commercial hosting events and larger events for station, commercial clients and partners
• Brainstorm and contribute ideas to the station, to drive listener engagement and listenership

Qualifications

• Possess at least an ‘A' level/Diploma holder
• At least 5 years of experience/perspectives in any language station
• Effectively bilingual (where applicable)
• Excellent command in the language of the programming group
