QA QC supervisor
Job summary
A construction quality management firm in Singapore is seeking a QA/QC Specialist. The role involves implementing quality assurance systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Candidates must have at least 3 years of construction site experience and knowledge of QA/QC methods. Experience in LTA projects is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years related construction site experience.
- Proven experience in QA/QC methods of assessment.
- Experience in LTA projects is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement the QA/QC system to ensure quality targets are achieved.
- Develop project quality plans and procedures based on project requirements.
- Conduct in-process checks and monitor assessment schedules.
Skills
- Implementing the QA/QC system to ensure quality targets are achieved
- Develop Project quality plans, project QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), etc. basing the project requirements
- Conduct briefing in line with the quality standards and good practices
- Carry out in-process checks with the quality standards and good practices
- Monitor and update schedule and status of CONQUAS / QUALITY assessment or any other given award(s)
- Liaise with the relevant authorities on the submission status
- Liaise and Coordinate closely with Site Project Managers and representatives (Structural, Architectural, Civil, etc.)
- To plan, conduct and monitor the project(s)’ in-process quality inspections.
- To prepare, issue and monitor the closing of quality inspection reports.
- To ensure proper record keeping of all QA/QC documents (i.e. inspections records, reports, authority documents etc.)
- Maintains good documentation.
- Conducts stage wise inspections like material/fit up/visual/bolt tightening/painting for fabrication and erection works.
- Prepares welding procedure specification and conduct welder qualification tests.
- Prepares quality control procedures and repair procedures for welding.
- 3 Years related construction site experience
- Experience in QA/QC methods of assessment
- Experience in LTA project
