What the role is

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore’s raison d’etre is to develop the air hub and aviation industry in Singapore, expanding Singapore’s links to the rest of the world. We enable opportunities through aviation, making connections, opening doors, and enabling choices in people’s lives.

The Price Regulation team ensures that Singapore remains a price competitive air hub, and that our airport licensees are financially sustainable and incentivised to operate our airports efficiently and innovatively.

What you will be working on
  • Ensuring that the Singapore air hub remains price competitive, through the regular review and implementation of the pricing regulatory frameworks for Changi and Seletar Airports, as well as the funding framework for the Changi East development/Terminal 5.
  • Ensuring that our airport licensees are financially sustainable, through the analysis and assessment of their financial performance, including revenue and cost drivers.
  • Safeguarding and advancing Singapore’s aviation interests internationally on economic regulation matters, by keeping abreast of developments at ICAO and developing positions and interventions for Singapore where necessary.
  • Managing key aviation stakeholder accounts, in particular our airport licensees, through the regular review of airport economic regulation legislation, conditions and other regulatory matters.

Note: Your appointment designation will be commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3‑year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
