Job summary
A local restaurant in Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual for food preparation and kitchen management. Responsibilities include preparing food according to standards, ensuring smooth kitchen operations, and maintaining hygiene. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and the ability to lead a team. This position offers an opportunity to grow in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to lead a team and delegate tasks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food according to company standards.
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations and inventory management.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety.
- Prepare food according to the Company standard procedures.
- Assist in cooking and food preparation
- Prepare cold foods and raw foods, slice meat, and wash vegetable
- Stir and strain soups and sauces
- Butcher and clean fowl, fish, and poultry to prepare for cooking or serving
- Ensure kitchen operations are carried smoothly and effectively
- Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas
- Responsible for inventory management to ensure sufficient stock for operation efficiency
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
- Lead team and problem solving
- Allocate work to junior kitchen cooks
- Responsible for kitchen equipment maintenance
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Superior
- Assist superior in administrative duties
