An educational institution in Saudi Arabia is seeking an Academic Vice Dean to drive academic excellence and foster an inclusive learning environment. The role involves overseeing curriculum development and accreditation efforts, and engaging with the academic community. Candidates should possess a doctoral degree and extensive leadership experience in health sciences education. Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
Formación
- Minimum of seven (7) years of academic leadership experience in health sciences education.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, assessment, accreditation, and faculty affairs.
- Strong understanding of Whole Health, integrative care, or holistic education models.
Responsabilidades
- Develop and implement academic strategies that promote student success and institutional effectiveness.
- Oversee curriculum development, assessment processes, and faculty performance to ensure academic integrity and quality.
- Lead accreditation efforts and ensure compliance with relevant educational standards and regulations.
- Foster collaboration among academic departments to enhance interdisciplinary programs and initiatives.
- Engage with faculty, staff, and students to cultivate a vibrant academic community and address emerging educational needs.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to align with institutional goals and priorities.

- Represent the academic division in institutional planning and decision-making processes
- Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, MD, or equivalent) in a health-related or education discipline.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of academic leadership experience in health sciences education.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, assessment, accreditation, and faculty affairs.
- Strong understanding of Whole Health, integrative care, or holistic education models.
- Bilingual proficiency (Arabic and English).
- Positive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.
