A leading engineering company is seeking a Junior Geological Engineer for an iconic underground excavation project at Sharaan Resort in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. The role involves supporting geological monitoring activities, assisting with geological mapping, and reporting geological conditions during construction. Candidates should expect to develop technical skills while adhering to HSE regulations. This position is critical in ensuring the project's success while managing environmental and heritage constraints.

Qualifications

  • Support geological monitoring activities during underground excavation.
  • Develop technical skills in complex tunnelling environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with geological mapping at tunnel faces and portals.
  • Support rock mass classification (Q-system, RMR, GSI).
  • Prepare geological logs and daily/weekly reports.
  • Observe and report specific geological conditions.
  • Coordinate with construction, methods, and geotechnical teams.
  • Strictly apply HSE rules on site.
