A prominent consultancy firm in Saudi Arabia seeks a Carbon Accreditation Consultant for a full-time, on-site position. The role involves developing sustainability strategies, managing accreditation projects, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards. Candidates should have a strong background in carbon management, project management abilities, and excellent communication skills. A B.Sc in Environmental Science or related field is required, along with at least 5 years of experience in carbon credit projects. Familiarity with climate policies is a plus.
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Saudi Arabia for a Carbon Accreditation Consultant. The role involves developing and executing sustainability and nature based carbon accreditation strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant environmental standards and policies. Day-to-day tasks include conducting emissions assessments, advising on best practices for carbon footprint reduction, managing accreditation projects, and preparing documentation and reports for certifications. The consultant will also liaise with key stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with international carbon emission standards and practices.
· B.Sc’s in Environmental Science, Climate Change, or related field
· 5+ years in carbon credit projects or ecosystem restoration
· Expertise in carbon accounting, MRV systems, GIS, remote sensing
· Familiarity with Verra VCS, Gold Standard, ISO 14064
