A healthcare company seeks a Medical Sales Specialist to promote and sell medical products to hospitals in Johor. Candidates should have 2-3 years of medical sales experience, strong communication skills, and a bachelor's degree in business or related fields. The role includes identifying potential clients, conducting presentations, and managing client relationships. Our client, a company established in 1981, specializes in supplying dialysis disposables, medical equipment, and devices to natonal healthcare institutions. In addition to its core offerings, the company extends services in warehousing, logistcs, manufacturing, and regulatory services, catering to various other principals.
This is a full‑time role for a Medical Sales Specialist/Product Specialist, located in Johor. The Medical Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting and selling medical products to healthcare institutions and hospitals.
Identifying potential clients, conducting sales presentations, providing customer service, and maintaining detailed records of sales activities and client interactions. Additionally, the role involves staying informed about new medical products and market trends.
Primary responsibility for creating the demand of company’s products in the hospitals, through doctors’ & members of the allied health professionals’ recommendations & endorsement.
On‑going monitoring of marketing plans issued & reporting of any variances to manager in charge.
Provide monthly reports on sales performance, competitors’ activities and conducting CME to the healthcare professionals.
Monitor all aspects of a product lifecycle, including long/short-term product development marketing.
Work as a team to gather in-depth knowledge of products versus the current competition out in the market.
Ability to identify new market opportunities.
Conduct product and sales training for the marketing team.
Monitor security certificates and company compliance for requirements.
Minimum 2-3 years in Medical Sales and Hospital Sales experience.
Experience in dealing with hospital procurement, ward-level staff, and/or specialists.
Familiar with tender processes, product presentations, and usage trainings.
Experience in wound care, surgical consumables, or medical devices would be a strong advantage.
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
