Job summary

A manufacturing company in Penang is seeking a Welder who will assist in machine setups and ensure compliance with quality specifications. Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a certificate or diploma in the field of welding.
• Preferably with at least 1–2 years working experience as a welder.
• Experience or knowledge in TIG/MIG/FCAW or robotic welding.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the setup of machine and material preparation based upon the process drawing.
• Responsible for performing manufacturing jobs based on QA checksheet.
• Reduce material wastage, machine setup time and runtime.
• Support Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) program.
• Ensure the workplace meets the 5S housekeeping standard.
