Job summary

A leading glove manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a WWTP Supervisor with a minimum of 5 years’ experience or relevant educational qualifications. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, and the ability to conduct preventive maintenance and audits. Fresh graduates with internship experience are also encouraged to apply. The role requires the ability to work independently and under pressure, with a willingness to work shifts if required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as WWTP Supervisor or relevant degree.
• Internship experience in WWTP/IETS/ETP preferred for fresh graduates.
• Experience in the glove/latex or chemical industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain proper records.
• Prepare daily operation and monitoring reports.
• Assist with audit documentation for internal and external audits.

Skills

Wastewater treatment process understanding

Knowledge of COD/BOD/TSS/pH parameters

Microsoft Excel

Good leadership

Ability to work under pressure

Education

SPM with minimum 5 years’ experience

Diploma/Degree in Environmental Engineering or related field

Job description

Understanding of physical and biological wastewater treatment process

Familiar with COD, BOD, TSS, pH, Ammonia, Oil & Grease parameters

Knowledge of compliance to Standard B (DOE)

Able to conduct preventive maintenance and maintain proper records

Basic knowledge of pump, blower, mixer and chemical dosing system

Able to prepare daily operation and monitoring reports

Able to assist , handle and prepare audit documentation for internal and external audit such as ISO14001 and other related audit

Basic knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word.

What we’re looking for

SPM with minimum 5 years’ experience as WWTP Supervisor, OR

Diploma / Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, Biotechnology (Environmental) or equivalent

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (must have internship experience in WWTP / IETS / ETP).

2-3 years of relevant working experience in WWTP is an added advantage

Experience in glove, latex or chemical industry will be an added advantage
