Job summary

  • Demonstrate 1-2 years of proven experience in a waiter/waitress role within a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience for all guests.
  • Proficient in taking customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing both manual and potentially digital order‑taking systems.
  • Possess comprehensive menu knowledge, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens, to effectively answer customer inquiries and provide recommendations.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills, working effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service.
  • Exhibit proficiency in cash handling procedures, including processing payments, providing accurate change, and reconciling daily transactions.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, enabling clear and effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex situations to management when necessary.
  • Ability to work onsite at The Five, Lorong Dungun Kiri, Bukit Damansara, 50490 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

  • Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures and POS system, providing correct change and receipts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas, adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards.
