As a Treasury Manager, you’ll be a vital part of our trusted finance team, shaping the treasury functions of Lee’s Frozen Food to support our mission of food equality. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging expertise in cash management, risk mitigation, financial planning, and the latest technology, including artificial intelligence, to optimize liquidity, manage risks, and drive growth. Key Responsibilities
- Lead Cash and Liquidity Management: Develop and implement cash flow strategies, monitor daily positions, optimise working capital, and establish cash pooling arrangements to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and investments.
- Oversee Banking and Relationship Management: Manage relationships with banks, negotiate facilities like loans and credit lines, review fees for cost optimisation, and implement banking technology solutions such as online platforms and treasury management systems.
- Drive Foreign Exchange and Financial Risk Management: Execute hedging strategies to mitigate currency risks, monitor interest rate and currency impacts, and recommend tools like swaps and derivatives.
- Manage Debt and Investment: Analyse financing options, handle corporate debt compliance, oversee investment portfolios for maximum returns within risk limits, and provide recommendations on capital structure.
- Ensure Treasury Operations and Compliance: Implement controls and procedures, collaborate with auditors and regulators, and maintain accurate records to minimize risks and meet regulatory requirements.
- Handle Financial Planning and Reporting: Prepare treasury reports including cash forecasts and risk analyses, conduct financial modeling and scenario planning, and offer insights to senior management.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the treasury team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA is an added advantage.
- 5- 8+ years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking, preferably within the food industry or retail.
- 3-5 years of proven managerial experience.
- Experience driving strategic treasury projects in high‑growth or dynamic environments.
- Demonstrated experience streamlining treasury processes and improving cash flow forecasting systems.
- Proven track record of working effectively in fast‑paced, evolving business settings.
- Strong knowledge of cash flow management, financial risk mitigation, and banking regulations.
- Experience in managing foreign exchange exposure, hedging strategies, and debt financing.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools, Excel, and financial software.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, financial modeling, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial insights to senior leadership.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional.
- Mandarin speaker preferred to effectively collaborate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
- High attention to detail, self‑motivated, and able to thrive in ambiguity.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
