Company Background:

Our client is an established semiconductor manufacturer, and they are currently looking for a Test Maintenance Manager to be based in Melaka plant.

Job Purpose:

Ensure the overall performance of testing machines & equipment in the production floor. Managing a big team of maintenance engineers and technicians. Responsible for carrying out thorough troubleshooting, identifying machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism. Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a complete set of records for equipment and parts inventory purchases, equipment conditions, costs of repairs and preventive maintenance for all equipment.
• Drive equipment engineering team to improve performance, quality cost, cycle time and manufacturing robustness of test equipment.
• Oversee the general management and maintenance of equipment, repair and storage functions, to include fire control and electronics equipment.
• Scheduling preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure that equipment is in good working condition at all times.
• Coordinating with staff regarding equipment needs and ordering new equipment as needed.
• Inspecting equipment to ensure it meets safety regulations and standards of quality.
• Identify skill gaps, provide relevant training and development opportunities, and foster a culture of continuous learning

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience in maintenance of test machines / equipment in semiconductor backend processes.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage a big team of engineers and technicians.
• Possess hands‑on experience in minimizing machine downtime and proficient in tester / handlers troubleshooting and related preventive maintenance.
• Being readily available and prepared to assist if any machine down.
• Must be willing to work in Melaka.
