A manufacturing company in Seremban, Malaysia is seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineer to handle instrumentation maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate must have at least a Diploma in Engineering and 3 years of relevant experience, along with knowledge in verification and calibration. Responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting various instruments while coordinating external contractor activities. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• At least 3 years (s) of working experience in chemicals & manufacturing background.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Bandar Sri Sendayan.
• Having knowledge in Instrument verification & calibration skill.
• Available to start immediately.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible to conduct, checking, and confirm all instrumentation maintenance or repair works according to schedule, procedures, and specifications.
• Ensure the process to carry out the repair, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks on all transmitters e.g. temperature, pressure, flow, control valve, PLC/DCS/SCADA, and maintaining all marshaling room.
• Able to trouble-shooting all the activities in electrical wiring.
• To involve in project activities for all Electrical & Instrumentation works at the site.
• Have knowledge in MSB, LV, DB.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation device problems and ensure equipment, tool and measuring are in good working condition.
• Monitor external Instrument contractor's works and assess their performance for future improvement.
• Testing adjusts and repairs meters, indicators and gauges, electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and system.
• Testing and calibrating of flow meters, level, conductivity, PH analyzer, pressure, gauges, temperature, controllers, radiation or detectors, and other recording, indicating, or controlling instruments.
• Apply and expand new technology and industry knowledge to the equipment and process reliability improvement.
• To establish priorities according to urgency and importance.
• To execute other functions as and when required by the immediate superior.
