Job description

Execute, follow and conduct the preventive maintenance plan (balancing timing, accuracy and cost).

Develop and keep automation standards regarding equipment and programming. Research, evaluate, and recommend new automation equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the PLC environment and field instruments. Ensure all key electrical and PLC components are identified and standardized, including identification of adequate suppliers in cooperation with sourcing.

Report upcoming issues on short, mid and long term.

Coach and mentor maintenance electrical staff and assist them to diagnose more complex problems with PLC and control system.

Works independent with knowledge and emergency sense.

Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external contractors to minimize costs and ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service in regard to PLC and field instruments.

Understanding the relation between equipment's.

Provide expertise as line of defense for troubleshooting regarding all PLC and electrical systems. Identify root causes of failures investigated and equipment problems eliminated.

Encourage other stream members to focus on best shape of machines.

Modifies control systems and electrical systems within projects or improvements.
