Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment Maintenance And Repair

• Sustain backend equipment uptime above the targeted goals for Package saw, Solder ball attach, Laser cut, Laser mark and AOI.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure smooth production operations.

Preventive Maintenance

• Complete all scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities and equipment conversions within the stipulated time.
• Ensure zero post‑maintenance issues.

Performance Metrics

• Maintain and improve Mean Time Between Alarms (MTBA), Repeat Alarm metrics, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to meet or exceed set targets.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and address recurring issues to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements.

Documentation And Reporting

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.

Generate and submit reports on equipment status and any deviations from goals.

Safety And Compliance

• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with company and regulatory standards.
• Participate in Safety, 6S audits and training sessions.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Certificate / Diploma in Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronic or Equivalent.
• Must be able to work in a 12 hour shift.
• Able to read, write and converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Preferred

• Familiarity in computer system & computer network.
• Familiarity in MS Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook.
• Able to work independently.
• Have a good interpersonal skill.

Skills

• Knowledge in Basic Troubleshooting Flow (Electrical & Mechanical).
• Knowledge in Electric / Electronic Component.
• Knowledge in Package saw, Solder ball attach, Laser cut, Laser mark and AOI machine will be an added advantage.
