Job summary

A technology company in Skudai, Malaysia, is seeking a technician for machine assembly and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate must have a Certificate or Diploma in a mechanical field and be skilled in handling mechanical tools. Responsibilities include assembling machines, quality checking, and maintaining a tidy workspace. Immediate availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate or Diploma in any mechanical field.
• Ability to handle mechanical tools, e.g., torque drivers.
• Ability to work with small and big components and lift heavy items.
• Able to read documentation and understand operation instructions.
• Must be able to speak, understand & read English.
• Available to start work immediately.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform machine wiring & assembly
• Perform machine set-up , troubleshooting ,testing and quality check on machine
• Perform a check through on materials issued to them for assembly
• Other add-on duties as per assigned by supervisor
• Take responsibly for tools and fixtures provided in the production floor and also
• Maintaining a good house keeping within the group
• Perform job based on the provided Work Instruction

• Demonstrate behaviour consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
• It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.

Qualifications

• Technician is required to have the ability to work with small & big parts or components and as well the strength to lift heavy items
