Responsibilities
- 1.1. Ensure that all task/ work is done in a safe and professional manner;
- 1.2. Ensure that all maintenance entries on maintenance job card and work orders are properly executed;
- 1.3. Uses and understands component maintenance manuals and other repair specifications;
- 1.4. Executing maintenance tasks include disassembly, cleaning, inspection, troubleshooting, parts requisitioning, repair, assembly, and testing;
- 1.5. Ensure that proper tooling and equipment is utilized, calibrated, and in good working order for the maintenance task being accomplished;
- 1.6. Ensure no defective, non-conformed, or unworthy parts are installed in any component or assembly;
- 1.7. Identifies problems and recommends solutions to Team Leader/ Superior;
- 1.8. Always working together with the other teams/ supervisors for ongoing improvements and better implementation strategies.
- 2.1. Showing up for work on time;
- 2.2. Treat supervisors/ peers respectfully;
- 2.3. Always focus on task and instruction from supervisor/ superior.
Maintenance line setup, preparation, and work processes
- 1. Assisting Team Leader in preparation and executing work processes in maintenance line based on job card and manuals;
- 2. Ascertain that the assigned maintenance line has appropriate parts, supplies, and tooling and to report back any inconsistencies or shortage;
- 3. To provide continuous feedback and troubleshooting steps to Team Leader to fix the problems/ processes in maintenance line.
Housekeeping and depot/maintenance line
- 1. Keep the depot/ maintenance line looking clean and organized;
- 2. Adhered to work standards and procedures for depot/ maintenance line;
- 3. Perform good housekeeping practices with respect to the parts area and the timely processing of parts disposition.
Health And Safety in workplace
- 3.1. Attend toolbox briefing without fail;
- 3.2. Promote and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with all company Safety Procedures;
- 3.3. Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
Others
- To carry out any other duties/ tasks assigned whenever necessary.
Requirements / KPI:
- 1. Expertise in bogie procedures and best practices
- 2. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- 3. Strong knowledge of bogie Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 4. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
