A leading recruitment services company is seeking a Technical Sales Executive in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves providing sales and marketing activities to clients, managing relationships, and delivering technical support. Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics and possess experience in technical sales. Provide sales and marketing activities to existing customers and search for new customers.
Execute activities to take care of existing customers and search for new clients who might benefit from the company’s products or services, maximizing client potential in designated regions as required.
Execute activities that develop long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements.
Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts.
Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education by delivering product training to customers.
Work on after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required.
Assist in the design of custom-made products and provide training and support materials for other members of the sales team.
Prepare timely sales reports to inform leadership regarding customer situations and requirements.
Enter customer information and needs into the company system.
Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs.
Liaise with other members of the sales team and technical experts.
Follow up on payments from customers.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
Own transport and willingness to travel for business trips.
Experience in technical sales, preferably in the motors and motion control industry, is a plus.
