Technical Partner Manager - Thermal Solutions
Develop technical relationships with target customers and partners and communicate bp Castrol’s technical offer in Asia Pacific (AsPAC) region. Work closely with the Data Centre Global Technology Manager, DC AsPAC Business team, and DC Global Technology team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Build technical partnerships with key technical groups at target data center customers and partners to support business development
- Present technical data to facilities design and operations teams to support the specification of Castrol products and services into hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise accounts
- Present technical data to Server OEMs, Hyperscalers, and System Integrators to support Castrol’s product approvals and validation; work with internal teams to achieve agreed breakthroughs as part of the approval and validation process
- Identify the needs of partners and customers and develop implementation strategies
- Represent bp at Industry Conferences and Customer Events
- Develop Castrol technology offers with internal technology and business team and strongly influence data center customers and partners
- Provide insights and market trends to internal technology and business team for future fluid and offer development
Education & Experiences:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, computer science, or related field)
- Several years of professional experience in a thermal fluid or data center industry including HVAC systems
- Several years of practical experience in customer management
- Understanding of thermal management fluids for data center liquid cooling
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven leadership with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and implement tasks in a high‑pressure environment
- Ability to manage large, complex projects that require coordinating resources internally and externally
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions
- Demonstrated skills to develop and deliver effective presentations and proposals
