Job summary

A leading automotive services company in Johor seeks a dedicated professional to assist the Branch Executive in operations and service activities in the Southern Region. The candidate will play a critical role in vehicle preparation and inspection as well as provide support to various departments. Candidates should have relevant academic qualifications or significant automotive experience, a strong customer service focus, and a valid driving license. Opportunities for travel may arise.

Qualifications

  • Valid driving license and can travel outstation whenever required.
  • Experience as a car inspector / mechanic is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in vehicle preparation and delivery of new and standby vehicles.
  • Ensure returned vehicles are inspected in good acceptable condition.
  • Facilitate the deployment and collection of Standby Vehicles.

Job description

Provide assistance to Branch Executive - Southern on overall responsibility for operations and service activities in Southern Region (Peninsular Malaysia).

Key Responsibility Areas
  • To assist in vehicle preparation and delivery of:
    • New vehicle
    • SPK Pool vehicle
    • Standby Vehicle (SV)
  • To ensure all returned vehicles are promptly and properly inspected:
    • Lease End Date (LED) vehicles – returned in good acceptable condition with complete accessories.
    • SPK Pool vehicles – identify for any repair work and to carry out the repair work according to the Service Level Agreements (SLA).
    • Standby Vehicles – make good for next deployment.
  • To facilitate the deployment and collection of Standby Vehicles (SV) according to the Service Level Agreements (SLA) to and from fleet users.
  • To provide support and facilitate other departments on matters related to activities and initiatives including:
    • Used Car Department
    • Support Services Division (SSD)
    • Business Development and Corporate Communication (BDCC) Department
  • Execute any other tasks or duties as and when assigned.
Job Requirement
  • Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field; or
  • SPM/Certificate with 5 years of related working experience (in automotive will be an added advantage)
  • Experience as a car inspector / mechanic is an added advantage
