Job description

What you’ll be doing

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team
• Design, develop and deploy scalable, secure and user-friendly web applications using modern full-stack technologies
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure the codebase adheres to best practices, industry standards and company policies
• Participate in code reviews, testing and troubleshooting to maintain code quality and integrity
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in the industry
• Mentor and train junior developers to help them grow their technical skills

What we’re looking for

• Have 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 4–5 years in full-stack
• Experience 3+ years in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead, Senior Lead, Engineering Manager) leading teams of 5+ engineers
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• Front-end: React (modern hooks/context), Next.js (preferred), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS / styled
• Back-end: Node.js, Express.js or NestJS, REST/GraphQL APIs, TypeScript, authentication
• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems, microservices, or serverless architectures
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), and monitoring tools (Sentry, Datadog, Prometheus)
